    Re: 69 hoses

I found that old hoses which were painted by a previous owner (typical behavior when someone wants to hide old dirt...) can be clean with a paint remover. In my country I found some brands that will remove this paint while not affecting original markings like stripes and the like as long as you use it for a few seconds and clean inmediately. It worked! Then I will use WD 40 as some NCRS friend suggested. If internals in the hose are ok it is a pleasure to use the original ones. Best from Argentina, Roberto NCRS #30019 RMC
