Re: 69 hoses
Christopher----
If you wait to find a set of NOS 1969 vacuum hoses for your restoration, you may never see it completed. Vacuum hoses were NEVER available as a GM SERVICE part, either in the form of a "set" or individual units. These were PRODUCTION-ONLY items, similar to brake and fuel lines which were also never available as SERVICE parts. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 69 hoses
Christopher,
If your hoses are good but the stripes are bad, John Walluk (sp?) in New York advertises recoloring. This may be better than the Dr Rebuild hoses which are quite good but not quite the real thing. John advertises in the Driveline.

Re: 69 hoses
With the exception of Chester's response (I can understand if hoses are ACTUALLY history), you've gotten good info. BUT, too many, in my opinion, leap to the conclusion they need to 'gut' the vehicle and replace hoses.
During frame off and/or engine out, you have a pretty unique opportunity to remove and restore your factory original hose set. Trick is to gently wipe the surface with non-caustic that will help preserve the outgassing of plasticizers that occurs naturally due to heat and UV 'cooking' of the rubber. A can of WD-40, a wipe cloth, several cool beverages and a quiet peaceful day make the job go swiftly.
Spray and wipe off dirt grease and work the spray into the rubber. It will NOT remove factory original color coding and WILL fill minor surface abrasion/wear areas. Hose sets will look almost new again and actually BE the originals.
As you go, check integrity by taking each section, plugging one end and pulling vac from the opposite to test/verify functionality. Often, leaks occur at junction ends wear rubber was cut and the ends exposed to the effects of the elements. Look for radial cracks, chips, flaking and, as needed, take a knife/razor blade and slighly shorten the hoses affected to get to fresh rubber.
You just might find it's actually fun to work with the original parts on your car in lieu of throwing money at substitute/replacement items. BUT, in Chester's defense, if you've got bona fide TRASHED parts it's best to say 'bye bye' in the name of performance/safety. There are Corvette specialty scrap yards who WILL pull you original hoses, BUT like Joe says, this will be USED not NOS. So, it's a choice of the devil you know vs. the devil you don't know.... and- Top

Re: 69 hoses
Chris,
I actually did this (well, my Dad did, as he is "Chief Cleaner" for his restoration) in the 72 conv project. Unfortunately our hoses had some nasty paint overspray on them, but despite this with time they came out looking great.
Best of Luck,
