C1 '59: Tricks to remove glovebox molding

    Hi,

I want my glovebox molding (and all the other stainless steel stuff) get polished but I can seem to get the upper and lower small glovebox moldings loose. The upper ones seem to the screwed from underneath the molding and the lower ones I can't get a spanner on the nuts due to the small room available.

Are there any tricks to get these loose ?

    thanks,
    Rob.

Gently stick a flat blade screwdriver under one side and twist the blade and the trim should pop off. It just grabs the lip of the trim.

          Rob...

After polishing, have them chrome flashed, you will be glad you did...
