    Re: RE JERRY LUCK

I had the same experience with my tri power carbs. Filled the float bowls and the engine fired right up. A slight idle ajustment and the carbs performed great for 5 years and 8,000 miles. I have since sold the car (last year) but the money I spent with Jerry was the best investment I made. He currently has 3 more carbs of mine. Good luck, Joe

      Jerry Luck

Several years ago I sent my 3721SB (Carter AFB) to Jerry for a rebuild. Both the primary jets screw slots were damaged and the primary metering rods were worn and one was bent. He kept the carb for almost three months before returning it. Recently I had occasion to remove the top and found the same damaged jets and rods in it. I guess all he did was clean it up and send it back. I won't use his services again!

Did my Holley and it was excellent, car fired up no problems just a little idle ajustment. Turnaround was quick, he keeps in touch and lets you know what he is doing to your carb, and a fair price. At the time everyone was saying use Jerry Luck. I emailed him several times about sending him my carb, and asking a few questions about cost ect. No response from him at all. I would never use him for anything. He is slow and I guess he didn't need my business. Mike

          Re: Carb Rebuilding

I have used Holley to do the tri power carbs on my Plymouth 440
The quality was top notch - plating was perfect.
Replaced all the hardware - very very nice
          ----
I had Bob redo 3 of my side drafts - they are not running yet
He was a little backed up - they look OK
I had Daytona Auto in Florida do another set of side drafts - the turn around was much quicker, price was better, and they look much better

Again I have not used either set yet, so dont know if there is
tuning, or perf difference and not sure what set I am going to install.
