I just got a new dated repro Delco R-59 Energizer battery for the '67 from Restoration Battery in Cincinnati. They are a pleasure to deal with. Too bad all the vendors can't be as courteous and helpful as they are.
Anyway, my question is there is white caution sticker on the top of the battery which goes around the positve pole and says ...."Danger/Poison, do not remove this sticker". Is this a modern day federal regulation warning which I should remove for the sake of authenticity or did these batteries actually come with that sticker in '67? Thanks
