I purchased some slotted trailing arm shims ( from Quanta ) for my '67, for ease of installation and alignment. I see, however, that the holes in the one end are not round as original, but rather oval. The other end, of course, is slotted. I was wondering how these will be looked at during judging, and whether points will be deducted with reference to the "oval" shaped holes as well as the slots.

Re: C2 TRAILING ARM SHIMS
Your 67 should use the "double hole" shims, not the slotted ones. Don't have a JM handy, but there would be a deduction for this type of shim. Chuck1963 Corvette Conv. 327/360 NCRS Top Flight

Re: C2 TRAILING ARM SHIMS
Although this will certainly take a minor deduction the other thing to ask is how well you will be appreciated at the alignment shop with shims that are slotted versus the holes. When I talked with the alignment shop PRIOR to rebuilding the trailing arms, they did not want to do an alignment if I had the original style shims.
