NCRS Technical Discussion Board Upgrade Complete

The forum update is complete as you can see. There are a lot of new bells and whistles to learn. Please bear with us as we as Administrators have to learn a lot of them as well.

We will be making minor updates and changes as the week progresses so don't let something new take you off your feed.

We will try to update the FAQ's as we go with any new information that we need to convey.

Sorry about being down all day but it was major job for three of us to get this all done. Thanks Rob Musquetier and Gary Chesnut for all your help and moral support.

      John,

Thanks for noticing. My graphics program doesn't have spell check.

I will fix it in the next couple of days.

Hi John, why can't we revise/delete our own posts beyond the 12 hour window? Why is there a time limit on revising/deleting posts to begin with? This is the only site I've seen which has this strange rule.

          Thanks, Patrick #33001

Actually Patrick many sites I belong to have that "feature." If one were allowed to edit ones posts in perpetuity many responses to a post would appear to make no sense, or at least seem to be out of context. To preserve the continuity of the threads editing is time limited.

                Phil,

Judging Points, etc are in the Members List, which is now in the Community Tab. Enter your name and then click on the "About Me" tab and you'll see them.

Also, you can click on the "My Profile" at the top of the page and the "About Me" to see your points as well.

You can also click on your name at the very top of the page where it says Welcome. This will take you directly to your profile. You can then click on About Me.

Is there a feature to set the color of background? Looked in profile, but did not see -doesn't mean its not there.
PS When on site, FORUM selected something is written over the description below so I can not read anything in said area. It seems to say Driveline on line

Using IE8 there are several data elements that are displayed on top of each other. "Notifications" about the user neame. and the "post" "Profile" under the forum tab. Can not seem to get a picture to send you.

Driveline Online slides behind the search area if you have your favorites listed down the left side of the screen if using IE. If you click the X and don't show the favorites everything should appear ok.

I'd like to change the colors also.

The notifications area remember password is overlaying the images. Once you log on the following appears.

Using IE9 the Notifications area displays correctly but the links under the forum tab are still overlayed.

Using Safari 5.1.2 the Notifications area displays correctly but the links under the forum tab are still overlayed.

Using Firefox 9.0.1 the Notifications area displays correctly but the links under the forum tab are still overlayed.
