I agree Gene, that's why I posted "Regardless, the point of my reply was to simply state that this should be a "technical only" forum, which this topic doesn't fit into." Maybe Don can move this thread to the appropriate section.

Thanks for pointing out “it was quite a while ago”. Anyone can see that 1snake has been on an extended Corvette Foramen hiatus – since way back on October 2, 2016. Now that really is a very, very long time by some measures. You are to be commended for that sacrifice.

C1 & C2 Corvettes - Fantomworks '61 - Did anybody see the Fantomworks episode that recently aired that featured a red '61? The issue was mysterious oil burning. They did a compression test, all was ok. So they pulled the engine to tear it down and found a bad intake manifold, sucking oil. I was surprised that they...

C1 & C2 Corvettes - 66 battery tray - Trying to get a tired 66 running. I have a pretty eat up battery tray bottom. The top/shield is good. I am thinking 'bout buying one from Zip before I try to weld metal to replace rust. Does anyone know if their product is as heavy as original? Thanks

C1 & C2 Corvettes - 1961 correct numbers? - Hi CF, I bought my 61 a few years ago and I'm really happy with it. The cars birthday is around Feb. 1961, Date of the engine number is 1.18.61, casting number is 375XXXX. I guess this should be OK. The engines casting number is hard to read (taking a usable photo is quite...

Using the "Support, Feedback & Suggestions" board is like posting your comments in a black hole.
That is where the moderators put a post if they don't like it.
So I suggest participation in the CorvetteForum, a nice place to chat and get technical information.

I also still wonder why the Moderator's put my thread in this "Support, Feedback & Suggestions" without mentioning that this was transferred from the "Technical Discussion Board" into this "BLACK HOLE" board.??

I vote that we return to black & white TV's, hard wired rotary phones, silver Christmas trees with the spinning color wheel, burlap underwear, blood letting... or maybe common sense, polite/civil conversations, and all the other great old time values that we miss and desperately need to resurrect.
