Thank you Hugh and Paul for your help with your knowledge and history of Bob Chase Chevrolet. I have been emailing with the office manager at Kupper Chevrolet and she said that Mr. Bob Kupper will be back in the dealership on Monday and we will get his input on the date the dealership moved from the original location of Bob Chase Chevrolet to their current location that is now Kupper Chevrolet.

Im excited that we may be able to determine this and be able to get the information needed to produce an updated Shipping Data Report for this 1968 Corvette L79 Convertible!

Paul, if you could get your source to get a copy of "Chase Chevrolet" ad from a 1967 or 1966 book then I think that would be enough to make the changes to our database. Thanks

Not sure what all is going on behind the scenes between Mark, Paul & Hugh, but I appreciate the work you guys are doing to help me possibly get an updated NCRS Shipping Data Report.

In the meantime, I have heard back from Kupper Chevrolet. Mr. Kupper was not at the dealership in 1968-70, but he reached out to two former employees. The office manager from the Bob Chase Chevrolet era, and a long time salesman that worked for Bob Chase Chevrolet through Ressler Chevrolet for his entire 45 year career. He stated that Bob Chase Chevrolet moved from their original address on 107 3rd Ave NW to the new address and current location of Kupper Chevrolet at 1500 2nd Street NE on November 10, 1970. Both office manager and salesman said that what they called their "Dealer number" (their words) at the old location was "33118" and was part of the Denver zone. They also knew that at the new location their "Dealer number" was "33119" although they could not remember if it changed immediately when they moved to the new address, or if it was changed at a later date.

Not sure if this helps my case in anyway, but it may be as far as I can get on my own researching and contacting old Bob Chase Chevrolet employees.

Let me know if anyone has other updates for me, and I appreciate Mark, Paul and Hugh in your assistance!

Hugh provided some info so we can safely say 33-118 is Bob Chase Chev. We'll get a corrected SDR out to you. Thanks to all for the help.

Thats very exciting news!! Thank you so much for being willing to update the records and issue me a new SDR letter. I know its not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but to me it is awesome!

Thank you to Hugh Patterson, Paul Cavaseno and yourself for the extra work and research into helping me make this a reality.

Just a final update -

I received my new Shipping Data Report today from Bob Demmel with my delivering dealership listed as Bob Chase Chevrolet.

Super excited to finally have the piece of paper to add to my corvettes history.

AGAIN, thank you to everyone in the thread, and some that I believe may have been behind the scenes to help accomplish this for me.
