Today while organizing some parts I removed from my '66, I looked closely for the first time at the loose bolt that is at one end of the outboard, underbody cables for the seat belts. This bolt is item 6 on page 1 ASM, G2 in the '66 AIM. What I found unusual about this bolt is that it has a head mark (photo attached) that I've never seen on my car anywhere else, nor have I heard this head mark mentioned before. I have no reason to think this bolt is not original to my car and I wonder if any bolt experts on the DB have seen this head mark before. The marking look like LOBO - NC - 86. I'm guessing the NC stands for National Coarse threads. I have no idea about the 86.
Has anyone seem this head mark before on a C2? If not, what typical head marks would one expect for these bolts? I've managed to misplace the bolt for the other seat belt cable. The threads are 7/16-14 x 1". The reproduction bolts that come with the kit from Paragon are M head mark, and they are 1.25" long, and I'd rather not use them if I can find two good original bolts to restore.
Thanks,
Gary
