A whole lot of stories like yours, Jerry. But, at least you remembered her birthday. Do you know where she is today?

Hi Jerry . I worked in Mathews Chevrolet body shop in Granite city for a short time in about 1970 . Your car would have come in on a truck . The miles would have been from servicing and a trip to the gas station and a road test . Mathews was bought by Navotney (spelling ?) then by Weber who is still there . The old building is gone and is now a small park and a Taco Bell. What color and what engine was in it . Do you remember the Vin . There are allot of 62s in the area it could still be around . I bought my 62 in 1969 and drove it to work every day back then . It was a Black 340 hp #14166.

I've tried to find her without any luck...I posted sometime back that i still have the original vin plate.

        bLACK ON bLACK...340 hp ..pOSI...OFF ROAD EXHAUST..370 gears...4 speed...both tops

One of the Vin plate welds broke and i removed the plate( not wanting it to fall off )

When i traded the car in for a family car..( 68 Cougar).i placed all of the paper work & window sticker in glove box.

Later found i had forgotten to include the Vin plate
