    My 67 has a flat top and the centre is raised like it was welded and raised finish...

      According to the 67 AIM, the 67 uses the same 1997028 dimmer switch as the 66.

              Enclosed as photos of original Delco Remy dimmer switches as well as some after market dimmer switches.

              Top Photo, from left to right, all with Delco-Remy logo on cast on bottom:
              GM # 1997028 from 63 Corvair (June 1963), 2" tall; GM # 1997028 from 1964 Chev. (VIN 41847G162399), 2" tall; GM # 1997037 from 1965 Chevrolet (July 1965), 2.5" tall.

              Bottom Photo, from left to right:
              Bought at Swap Meet (very similar to GM # 1997028) ink stamped "124" on bottom with "22" casting number; Aftermarket by GENERAL part # 29030, made in U.S.A. purchases in the 1990's; GM # 12338706, Made in Brazil.
