You don't mention whether you're talking about small block steel valve covers small block aluminum covers, or big blocks. In any event, there were almost certainly multiple suppliers for the valve cover bolts. I would think that any period-correct headmarking would and should receive full judging credit.

However, if you really must have "RBC" headmarking bolts, Richard Fortier, who advertises in the Driveline, can most likely supply them.

67 steel valve cover bolts for both big and small block would be grade 2 TR small font, SBC, RBW and occasionally RSC and NAT. The ignition wire ground bolts on BB cars with a radio are grade 5 SBC, SB, TR, NAT RSC cad plated. RBC is not a correct bolt that's a miss print.

When I judge the George Jetson cars, I like to see various headmarkings on the same car. That is to say, the valve covers, on a single Corvette, would have two or three different headmarkings. I would not deduct for the headmarkings that are all the same because circumstances could cause that.

My 67 is a 300hp with steel valve covers and the hold down bolts have a (L) and are grade two.

Tim, Yes L!!! I had Big Block on my mind when I posted this and although they were also used on the Big Blocks occasionally they seem to be the red headed stepchild of BB V/C bolts. Very common on SB cars.
