    69 headlamp bezel screws

Are these correct screws to attach the chrome headlight bezel? I lost one and mine are black; this screw set is chrome.

      they will work

just be careful screwing them in.
I personally think they are just a tad bit longer than the originals - I compared to my real ones.
Also - the screw head for the machine screws is a little thinner...

I ran a chase in mi pot metal light assemblies to be sure all the threads were clean of any corrosion.

Chrome headlight bezel? No 1963-82 Corvette ever originally used a chrome headlight bezel.

Don,Are you asking about the stainless retaining ring? Or, did you have your bezels chrome plated?? What to give you an informed answer.

I actually meant the headlamp retaining ring. The top one was showed up 1st on paragon; then I went back and did another search and found the correct 12 set of bezel screws. Sometimes it hard tp do thing from work in the office from memory when you don't have the vette in front of you nor have you looked at that area in a while. Thank you Leif...Don

OK, that's different. The GM part numbers you provided in your first post are for the bezel. However, now that we know what you really need, besides fastening the retainer, those are actually the headlamp aiming screws. You can still obtain the screws you need from GM under GM #5966249

the ones listed in paragon are generic.

GM headlamp retaining ring screws were WAY different. They had a small head and pointy ends.
There was a guy on ebay selling sets of the correct ones.

I purchased a set for the 1969 I just finished.

                  Hi,
These pictures are from my 71, but if 69 cars are the same I believe the ring mounting screws are as Bill described .. a very small round head with a pointed, threaded, shaft.
The pointed shape is shown more clearly in the second picture.
In these pictures you can also see one of the headlight aiming screws.
                  Regards,
                  Alan
