I have not been to a regional or other NCRS meet with a car to be judged in 4 years. And the car I have has not been judged since 1993, so after lots of work and prep, really looking forward to it all again, hope I can remember what to do so I don't embarrass myself. Do the hubcaps have to be taken off before judging? Hope there is a good turnout of folks I haven't seen since Hampton, and hope the weather cooperates in Colorado. Hope to see some of you TDB people there.

Mike
Not a lot to remember besides bring your fender covers, fire extinguisher, a couple wrenches, folding chairs and your normal positive attitude. Hub caps stay on. Air filter and upper RF shield come off, tub lid drops down, spare and jack and wrench come out. Sit back, relax, enjoy the spectacle!- Top

Re: Rocky Mountain Regional, getting very excited!
what's the exact location, is it the formerly called Budweiser center in Centerra? It's been a while for me so will there be parking (free?) for spectators? Are spectators welcome, allowed to roam around the cars being judged as long as they stay out of the way?- Top

Re: Rocky Mountain Regional, getting very excited!
It in the Ranch Events Complex, and the Budweiser Center is part of that. The hotel on this map is the Embassy Suites where the regional is.
Not sure about spectators since this is an indoor event, maybe they have to register as guests and/or pay something?Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

Re: Rocky Mountain Regional, getting very excited!
Thank you Michael. I have a friend who'd like to learn more about how NRS judges cars and also would like to see correct vintage Corvettes so I don't want to drive him there and be unwelcome or turned away. Hopefully someone else will add more info.- Top

Re: Rocky Mountain Regional, getting very excited!
Richard,
Normally, there's a "walk-in" fee for most indoor events to view the cars.
A member must pay the registration fee to participate in any of the functions such as Observer Judge, Advanced Judging Seminar, Judging School, etc.
Come early - understand the Good Guy's meet is across the street on Friday and Saturday.

Re: Rocky Mountain Regional, getting very excited!
Gary et al,
Again, many thanks for your replies. Maybe it's time I rejoin the local chapter. However, if as you say, the Goodguys meet is on at the same time, it'll be real circus--they regularly draw hundreds of cars and thousands of spectators at this annual event.- Top

It will be busy, but this is also a huge place, and the Embassy Suites venue is on the edge, away from the Good Guys stuff.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top
