wiper cowl screw
Anyone have the dimensions length and size for a 65 wiper cowl screw? it was suggested that mine are too short, however they are the ones I removed some 30 years ago... and are the same length as the aftermarket ones available today. I lost a few points on them and it is easy to replace.. if I know what size they are suppose to be. thanks

I haven't removed any to measure length, but on every midyear I've owned or worked on, those screws were black phosphate round-head phillips #8 screws, and both the screws and their U-nuts were installed after paint.Comment

Original ones on my 66 are .695 Over all length.Comment

Thanks guys, min e are the right length, just wanted to check as recently was told in judging that they were too short, as not enough threads were visible when installed under the cowl...Comment
