    81 Bonding Strips

    I assume that the front fenders on all 81's would have a bonding strip or a lap joint that can be easily felt by hand and that the fiberglass color was still dark gray....this is a Bowling Green car....can someone please confirm this? Thanks, Fred S.

      Correct. There is a factory bonding strip between the fenders and the hood surround.
