I've entered into correspondence with a gentleman who is presently restoring one of the 45 cars built with RPO Z07 in the 1973 MY. The rear J56 calipers are still present as are the front caliper braces. The tank sheet specifies ZO7 so this appears to be the real deal.
The question is whether the car should have an adjustable proportioning valve or not. Presently there is a standard distribution valve and switch which appears to be undisturbed from factory build. The AIM addresses the J56 calipers but does not appear to mention the valve.
Which is correct?
Thanks.
