1967 Glass "E-Z-Eye Soft Ray" version of LOF

Does anyone know the originality of this glass on a 67? I am looking at a coupe that has correct date coded glass from LOF but note that it is "E-Z-Eye Soft Ray" above the typical "Safety Tempered" logo on the LOF glass. I am thinking that it is a service replacement version but notice that 5 pieces of this glass are on the coupe (windshield had been replaced) without evidence of them ever being replaced physically and they all are within a month or so of each other and well before the 12 month cut off.

Any help would greatly be appreciated, thanks, Mitch

There was a 67 like this at the North Central Regional this past weekend. All dates were correct, and it was deemed a variation of normal. We will see if anyone else chimes in on this type of glass marking.

Are you talking about my green 67 at the regional this past weekend? I meant to chat with you as I see you on the forums quite a lot and wanted to met you.
Yes, I heard the judges reviewing that with you and then went and inspected the glass myself.

Mike, I was the judge this weekend and am trying to do more research on this E Z Eye trademark as not typically seen, as I mentioned, Mitch

I have reached out to Pilkington/LOF via their Classic Glass department as part of my research and this is what I was told by one of their salesman of Classic Glass (Randy) who had taken a day or two to do internal research himself on the subject before getting back to me:

" I was told that Soft-Ray is OE for GM from the factory and E-Z Eye is aftermarket".

This came from the research department at Pilkington Glass..............research continues...........

Re: 1967 Glass "E-Z-Eye Soft Ray" version of LOF

I know that not all of my glass is original. But of the pieces that likely are, the passenger side wing window is an "E-Z-EYE FLOAT" with "SOFT-RAY" directly beneath. The rest is SAFETY (LOF) FLO LITE, and below that, AS-2 GZ and beneath that, solid tempered followed by M74.
It's amazing at how distracted you can get on the discussion board. I originally was looking for information on 67
              heater cores.
