Carb Rebuild Kits

Anyone tried the carburetor rebuilds kits that have been advertised in the Restorer for the past few issues? They claim to only contain the parts needed for a specific carb instead of the universal kits with all the extra parts. I'm fairly certain the company that is making them is K & B Corvette Products, but I can't find any info about the carb rebuild kits on the web.

Haven't used them but why not stick with Holley kits? May have a few extra parts but can match up new gasket with an old one-never have found it hard if you pay attention. Newer kits do have the newer nonstick blue gasket that may not judge, but much better than old paper ones for real world sealing and reuseablity.

I've had an issue once where I missed the difference in thickness on two otherwise identical gaskets. Took me forever to figure it out. Just don't want to go through that again.

Never had a "thickness issue" with correct Holley kit-just have to be careful to match up location of holes in new gasket to make sure same as one you're replacing.
