1958 Assemble Nut Plate - Impossible to install mint #351/#352 HORNS

    Dear NCRS members:

I just bought mint #351 & #352 horns for $500. The assembly nut plate is missing to install the horns which has the welded on brackets.

To install the assembly nut plate, you have to remove the hood; remove the radiator; and work with your head up side down, in order to access this area to rivet on the assembly nut plate.

Otherwise, you have to remove the engine, if you do not want to work with your head up side down.

    Is this about right?

    Thank you,
    Eric

I think I have the answer from Corvette Forum:

Remove the head light bucket to access this area, and save removing hood & radiator for last resort.
