66 headrest seats
I am looking for information and hopefully photos of complete factory original 1966 corvette headrest seats. How would a person identify originality of the seat springs, cushions and headrests? I believe the headrest brackets are special to 66 and so is the headrest shape and stitching, but not sure what to look for. Any information is appreciated. Thanks much for all assistance.

Richard, are you looking to add factory Headrest Seats to a 66? My Mosport 66 Coupe came with them. I believe that some vendors like Paragon offer the brackets and parts needed to add them to the stock seats but suspect that with only a little over a thousand originally made, they don't come up for sale too often.Mike T. - Prescott AZ. -

Richard, I've only seen what I believe are originals. The repro parts are supposed to be very similar but I don't have any first hand info on that. If that is the case and they are identical to the original items, then with the right hardware, it might be very difficult to determine repro from original since there is no tank sticker on pre-67 Corvettes.
