C-2 DIY quartz clock conversion kit

C/C has a quartz clock conversion kit that I am considering for my 1966. Has anyone tried the kit? Is it hard to do for someone who is not an expert? I will not be having the car judged.Ken

A little mechanical knowledge and the instructions and you should be fine. The hardest part will be removing the clock from the car and getting it apart.

I just replaced the quartz movement and installed an original movement on my 63 and the problem I had was re installing the hands. The old hands were in poor shape from several removals and replacements and just would not stay in place. I had to send it out to have it re assembled.
