radiator 3007436 ...the part number is a welded on tag

...does anyone have insight into this? It is for 65 big block. The JG does not say anything about the part number being a welded on tag. Would this occur
for the earlier 3005936 also? Thx

Yes, I've seen these radiators with the welded-on tag with the embossed part number. The same thing was true of some GM #3155316 small block aluminum radiators. I don't know about the earlier 3005936. Why was the welded-on tag used? I do not know.
