1969 - Ever heard of Motion Phase III cars?

have you ever hear of so call Motion Phase III cars delivered as 1969 special model. New to me...

From the ad: "The Motion Phase III package included twenty Motion super car club options and the 600 hp ZL/X "Elephant" motor which is claimed to be the only one documented and known to exist (optioned package of $7,995.00)."

Have a look here: https://www.proteamcorvette.com/Corv...42E/1042E.html (not my ad!!!)

Rob, you could get the Motion Performance Corvettes, Camaros, Novas, Malibus, Biscaynes, etc. by sending your car to Joel Rosen for modification or by ordering a new car and having it modified at MP. Rosen worked with Baldwin Chevy to supply cars. I contacted Joel Rosen in '69-'70 about modifications and also have one of the flip top gas fillers. The Phase III cars were the highly modified cars, up to 480+ CI IIRC. A buddy in the Air Force had a '69 Corvette that was Phase III modified. The body was the optional Mako Shark with flip front, covered headlights, fastback with shutters, 5 slot wheels, Mickey Thompson's, chromed Hooker side mounts, etc. The car was blue with red interior and atone time had a 435 HP and also an over the counter ZL-1. There is a fellow in Indiana who has one in the Mako paint scheme. Steve

I am a Motion fanatic partly due to the fact that my parents took me to Motion Performance, on Long Island, in 1970 when I was just 8 years old. I saw a 1970 Phase III Camaro being built and also saw a 1969 Phase III GT Corvette that was in the showroom.
The car in question is a very well known Motion car; more can be found about it and other Motion related vehicles at Yenko.net. There is a section dedicated to Motion and the car you have linked to was a feature car a while back on the site.
