Looking to buy a new box for my 59, Can't seem to find any corvette vendors that sell these, any help would be great Thanks

Don't think anyone reproduces these, might try Grossmuellers or other vendors that handle used parts. You could also post in the classifieds, although basically you already did that here. lol

Unless your original box is missing or damaged, why not just rebuild it. Kits with all the internals are available from Paragon, CC and Zip to name a few off the top of my head.

ALL 53-62 steering boxes are the same, EXCEPT, the 58-62 columns are a few inches shorter. Thus, ANY 58-62 column will work for you.

Also, up through 59, the VIN tag was attached to the body at the door hinge pillar. But beginning in 60, the VIN tag was spot welded to the steering mast jacket (column tube) in the engine compartment area. Thus, if you come across a NICE 60-62 column, you may need to sand down and smooth a couple of spot welds.
