C2 clutch cross shaft anti-rattle springs

Can someone post a picture showing where these two anti rattle springs should be installed? (This is on a '66 coupe)

    Thanks,

    Bob

Bob The springs are shown on page UPC7 C1 of the AIM. The springs hook on the holes on the shaft. One goes to the hole in the clutch lever arm and the other goes to the hole in the "Z" bar. They keep the clutch shaft from rattling.

They may well keep the linkage from rattling, but the main purpose is to take up any slack on the pins at the Z-bar end and the clutch fork end of the lower pedal push rod, to maintain instant pedal response, and to accommodate any wear (slop).
