Is there a discernible difference between original '67 BO sunbursts and the repro? Or do the repros use the original pieces? Thanks.

GM produced/sold two variations of the Statbursts. The first one (originals) had an HC code on the backside and was (in my opinion) the best looking of the bunch. The next variation had a PMC code on the back, and the colors and chrome were not as bright. These are typically the ones being sold today as NOS in boxes. The reproductions I have seen (early reproductions: 1980-1990 time period) had "Made in Korea" on the backside. The colors were about the same as the GM PC caps, but the chrome was very thin and pitted easily.

Not certain what is being made/sold today by the two companies selling 1967 BO Wheels. Others may know.

Larry, Thank You. The two I bought have a PMC code, so according to your guidelines, they would be the GM re-issue. Did that start in '67 or much later?

I would guess that changeover occurred in the early to mid 1970's period, but this is just a (somewhat) educated guess. Others might know.
