    77 interior lamps question

I am tired of playing games with my interior lamps. I want to run new orange and white wires instead of any more tracing and I want to bypass the delay. I just want the door pins and headlamp knob to run the top t bar and both foot lamp interior lamps. What is my best way to do this?
    Thanks
    Jack

Jack, I would think that jumping the wires at the delay module is all you need to do. orange is power to the light bulbs for dome lamp and white is your ground circuit to the pin switchs. I have seen the lamp delay module fail which renders the dome light inoperative. Not sure but the last one I replaced was on a 80 and the module is behind the glove box to the right. another thing is to remove the pin switches and check the contact areas, you can clean the contacts with some steel wool or light sandpaper.
