Vin and suffix on engines and cars next to each other on the assembly line. 1964 C2

I was reading in Nolan Adams Volume 2 Revised Updated Version and when i came to the supplementary data for 1964 Corvettes and
to my surprise i came over the VIN of the car that is one digit newer than my car or this car was parked in front of my car on final assembly

My car have a D5 tag and the official GM production date says 12/6/1963

Both the car in the Nolan Adams book and my car is 365 hp Corvettes and what i wonder is since this cars are so close should the cars have the same date in the suffix
    on the engine pad?
This car have a suffix of F1130RE so should my car also have the same date(Flint)F1130 or a later date?
Any know if the 250 hp, 300 hp, 365 hp and 375 FI engines where all placed together or where the engines separated on the factory?

I also noticed that the cars built around the date of my car have late K, 1963 or L, 1964 dated engine blocks but i saw some cars built much
later than my car still used K, 1963 engine blocks
I thought most engines had a date within a couple of months at max compared to the VIN of the car

I also noted that a car with a VIN of 958 after my car had the same K. 1963 dated engine block so the production date of the engine block compared
to the VIN of the car can be much more far apart than what i thought

NO. They were all stored in one area.
