Seat Belt warning light

Hi all,
I have a 1975 corvette that I'm restoring. Found it in a garage sitting for 8 years. All mech. completed and now working on interior. My question is the seat belt circuit. I know they, "GM" eliminated the seat sensors and all, in 75, how does the warning light go out? I know I can just remove the bulb, but is there something I'm missing. Is there a timer relay that controls that warning light? any help would be great.

John, I think that 75 did have seat sensors??? If not there maybe a switch on the buckle(s). the light has to be shut of buy one or the other type of switchs.

Hi Ed,
thanks for your input. I had both seats out to replace missing/ damaged belts. I don't recall seeing any sensors for the seats. I will check into the buckles to see if any switch exsits. I found the bulb missing when I removed the center gauge panel when I was replacing the tach board. My schematic's show a timer relay that I think turns the light off after the iginition is turn on? Don't remember seeing that relay when I had all of the panels removed.
