67 Corvette mirror

I'm wondering if anyone knows when the Bowtie type mirror stopped in 67 and then switched to the non-bowtie type? Thanks

According to the latest judging guide, the bowtie continued to approximately VIN 8000, then both the bowtie and plain mirrors were used randomly from VIN 8000 to VIN 10500. After 10500 and to end of production the plain back was used.

So some time in February 67 was when the bowtie was eliminated completely.

I have a March built car; you will not believe how many experts at local shows point out that my car has the "wrong" mirror.

My unrestored 110578 Feb 13th, '67 has the bowtie. The glass is dated 1-DMI-7 (Jan '67). Pretty sure it's original to the car.

Charles, my original mirror also is dated 1DMI7 and as previously stated above is a Feb car. Strange, isn't it?

May 1 car also 1 DMI 7 17XXX car. Mirrors were obviously built in large batches.
