I'm wondering if anyone knows when the Bowtie type mirror stopped in 67 and then switched to the non-bowtie type? Thanks

Re: 67 Corvette mirror
According to the latest judging guide, the bowtie continued to approximately VIN 8000, then both the bowtie and plain mirrors were used randomly from VIN 8000 to VIN 10500. After 10500 and to end of production the plain back was used.
So some time in February 67 was when the bowtie was eliminated completely.Last edited by Donald H.; April 29, 2014, 06:37 AM.Don Harris

Re: 67 Corvette mirror
My unrestored 110578 Feb 13th, '67 has the bowtie. The glass is dated 1-DMI-7 (Jan '67). Pretty sure it's original to the car.Charlie C.
