Have any of you had the Xpel Ultimate protective covering installed on your C2 Corvettes? I'm contemplating having it installed on a portion of my freshly painted 1967. What I'm wondering is how much and how far up the sides most people go with covering their cars.

Some of these protections will not be guaranteed if not applied over factory paint. I know that they are worried about lifting, etc. Just an FYI, so you may want to contact your installer and find out their position.

Paint needs to breath . I would not use it on any non factory paint .
