I have a 1969 convertible 350/350 with standard shocks. I am doing a frame off restoration on the car and have gotten to the shocks. I have NOS bushings for the bottom of the shocks but the top bushings are cracked. Is there any place I can obtain the rubber bushings to replace them? Thanks for any information. Steve

Steve------
I don't know of a source. These bushings were never available from GM separately from the shock absorbers. I suppose the rationale was when you need new bushings, the plan was to just replace the shocks. They would also be difficult to replace as they may have been vulcanized-in-place.
However, very often the only problem with these bushings is relatively minor surface cracking on the exposed surfaces. This does not necessarily render the bushing unfit for further use.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
