    "The Bunkie Knudsen Corvette"

    Can anyone help with a description of "Why" this car is labelled as "The Bunkie Knudsen Corvette"? Is it because he was in charge of the Division when it was built? Is there paperwork/pictures that show he had custody/"ownership"/usage of the car? What were the circumstances under which he ceded ownership/custody so that it could be sold and who was it sold to?
