Porting heads and HP

How much power gain is obtained from head porting at lower RPM? Say up to 3500? Seems like the most benefit who be at high RPM where the flow is high

Very little, but all other thing equal there will be 10-12 percent more top end power and 500 to 1000 more useable revs.

The way to get "more power" is head massaging, not some camshaft that makes a little more power at the expense of a lot of low end torque.

thats kind of what I thought....most of my driving is at and below 4000 RPM.... Wasn't sure if it would be worth the cost. Got pretty good low end torque now, that's what I like about it, but I picked up an extra set of heads recently and was trying to figure out what to do with them... I have the stock cam
