Local Bowling Green TV news last evening showed what looked like a left rear corner of the car. The rest of it is buried.

They pulled part of the Mallett out of the hole yesterday (last car). Sad to say it is probably not restorable.

With enough money you can restore anything.

DW, Depends on how you defind the term restoring. #8 is not restoration material. Nothing left to restore. Not worth spending boo coo cash on. JD

I see now that they're entertaining the idea of outside restorers to work on the cars. In talking with some fellow members I was lobbying for Tim Mickey to restore the 62, but we will see what happens. I agree that anywhere from 2-4 of them are good only as scrap display. Keep the Blue Devil, 62, and likely the 1 millionth.
