    '64 365hp air cleaner

My brother in law is in the process of restoring his '64. He got a new air cleaner from LI corvette since he had an after market one until now. There is a small (about 1/4") nipple, for a vacuum line I assume. Where should it be connected to? he says he can't find it in the AIM. Thanks!!

Tom: it connects to a rubber line that serves as the fresh-air feed for the choke on the Holley 2818. The rubber line connects to a metal pipe that enters the exhaust manifold near the outlet flange. The AIM section for the L76 motor should show the circuit. Mike

It goes to the 1/4" chrome tube in the passenger side exhaust manifold which provides heated air to the choke spring. The hose marked in yellow is laying on the manifold. The upper end connects to the nipple in the air cleaner base.

Connects to the clean air tube. See black hose below that attaches to chrome tube between head and exh manifold.
