After getting my car back I have discovered that the signals work without turning the key on. As far as I know they should not do that. Anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Re: 1962 Signal Blinker Issue
Yup.......
You probably put one of the 2 Pink wires onto the Ign switch BAT terminal. I've done it before too. One Pink goes to the gauges(Fuel & Temp), other to the directional flasher circuit. One to Ign, other to Acc terminals(even though Ign and Acc is internally tied in the switch), so doesn't really matter which is which.
I did that on the fuel and temp gauges Pink feed wire once. Were powered with key off. ooops.- Top
