65 seat belt buckle
does anybody have a good photo of a 65 seat belt buckle showing the correct "textured surface " the paint was peeled off mine .

64 buckle (paint removed) on left side, 65-early/mid 66 buckle on right side
Bottom photo:
Lt. blue 64 buckle ("MODEL-IC-8000" on the back side of the buckle is on the top)

Bill,
The photos were from my file. I sold the light blue 64 buckles. As I remember the finish on the 65-E66 black buckles is not really smooth. When I get a chance I will dig out my box of original midyear Corvette seat belts and buckles and get back to you. I'm sure others will comment as well in the mean time.
