GM #1050237 was first available about 1976 and was discontinued without supercession in July, 1981.
What differences are there between this Hard Plate Wax and the the old Coral Lave I still miss. I don't remeber ever seeing the Hard Plate Wax in GM Dealers parts departments.

I never saw this Hard Plate Wax, either. I have no idea how it's different than Blue Coral. The Blue Coral was GM #1050222. I have a 5 lifetime supply of that stashed away [none for sale]. It was discontinued without supercession in 1987.

Mike,If the safety flairs are original to the highway kit, they should have the year of manufacture printed on the side. Many times the original flairs in the kit deterate from moisture

Thanks to all! Couldn't find any date on the extinguisher, but did find AUGUST 1965 on the flares. That gives me a great idea as to the vintage of the kit.

The strange thing is that the 3891442 part number shown on the kit for the fuses was not even a released part number in 1965.
