3-Museum Tour, Ft Wayne, Indiana

Several chapters near (and including) Indiana toured three NCRS members' private collection buildings today. A big shout-out to Mike Treece, who organized this event! Mike is a multiple-chapter member, who is heavily involved with all of them. I believe this means that he never sleeps...

Mike Treece is a member of the heart of ohio chapter and has really helped me out with my 62 restoration.....he is a great NCRS member!

If Mike got paid a dollar per hour and a dollar per mile for all his travels and efforts he does he would have a collection like the ones we saw today. We all need to thank him for doing this for all of us and being a part of NCRS for all the right reasons....enthusiasm for the corvette and friends made along the way.

Yesterday was an excellent example of the NCRS motto, "great cars, great friends." As Events Chair for the Heart of Ohio Chapter, Mike Treece has been opening doors for us like what we saw at Ed's, Larry's and Keith's for the past 4 years. We had excellent hosts for our 150+ friends that were able to attend. Thank you to our host and also thank you to Mike for getting us all in the door.

That's one of the things I miss about moving from Auburn In. I was less than 50 mi. from all of the their places. Don't know of another place that has 3 private collections of that caliber within such short a distance. Ed has my old 1972 Silver ZR-1 coupe that is the last ZR-1 built.

I want to THANK everyone who come when you plan thing like this and no show makes you wonder if it is all worth it but when you get people from 7 states and Canada that says a lot for the 3 host and collections and I know they enjoyed having us as much as we enjoyed seeing them THANKS again to all that come
