    C2 seat adjustment

Can anyone tell me how you can get the drivers seat to adjust closer to the steering wheel than the factory set up allows? Ron

Ron, if you have the seat adjusted as far forward on the tracks as it will go, which I bet you do, then you will have to mount the track farther forward. Steve

Ron, I had the opposite problem - not enough legroom. I located an orphan C2 seat and had my upholsterer cut down just the seatback (which is about 5-6" deep stock ) to about 2-3" which worked like a charm, giving me the additional 2" I needed to straighten my knee out. Perhaps you might try the opposite approach. Add extra padding material to your seatback (which may require modifications to your seat cover) and set the seatback adjustments to minimize the rake by screwing the top adjusters as far out as they will go. In another thread someone mentioned the plastic screw-in bushings (for want of a better term) on the seat bottom came in taller heights. Never seen these but it would be fairly easy to have someone fabricate the part with more height or shim it taller and use a longer attaching screw. Are you sure you're getting all the forward travel you need out of your seat tracks?
