    Original Battery Cable Spring Rings

I searched the forums but I have not been able to find a good detailed description or pictures of the spring rings on original '69 battery cables. The TIM&JG says very little. I have seen some that are claimed to be NOS that have an concave surface on the side that faces away from the battery and raised lettering that reads "SPINGRING." On the underside (side that faces the battery) of the spring ring is raised lettering that reads "BATTERY." Can someone please confirm the correct configuration of the spring rings or better yet, post a picture of an original.

My car is 427/390, w/o A/C, manual trans if that matters.

    Thanx

Thanx Jeff, just double checking - these are known to be originals? If so, do they have the last four digits of the part number stamped on them with white ink?

Your welcome Floyd. They came off a 68. I'm planning on using them on the 68 resto. Here is the stamp on the negative cable. Nothing on the positive cable.

Re: Original Battery Cable Spring Rings

Thank you gentlemen. My car is an Oct 4, 68 build so it used the spring ring cables. I now have all the information I need.
