Doing a frame off restoration on my 67'. Is it necessary to rebalance the drive shaft and half shafts? What have others done? Also when I put them back on should I put them on the same way; Meaning I labeled the front part of the drive shaft and the half shafts I labeled right and left and which was the inside/outside.

Re: 67' drive shaft and half shafts rebalancing
The half shafts were not balanced in the first place, nor was there any attention paid to their orientation upon installation. Unless the main drive shaft has been damaged or a weight has been lost, rebalancing is not required. It should be reinstalled in the same direction as originally found.- Top

If you replace the driveshaft u-joints (as I would ALWAYS recommend if you have the driveshaft out and the u-joints have any significant number of miles or years on them), then you need to have the driveshaft re-balanced with the new u-joints. Competent driveline shops can easily handle this and the cost is not usually too great.
The half shafts do not require balancing even if the u-joints are replaced. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
