C2 glovebox door identification?

How can I determine what year a specific glove box door is used on?
I got one in a box of parts. It appears to have a new aluminum insert but no emblem.

No label on the back side.

Can I assume the basic frame is the same for all years and the emblem determines the year?

Bruce - I think your assumption is on target. The front emblem will give you a production year range & the label on the back if original would possibly narrow down the production year. Pete
