    1971 Lt-1 thermostat housing

    Does anyone know if the thermastat housing on a 1971 LT1 is painted chev orange or left natural aluminum? Thanks in advance. Phil

      DEFINITELY natural aluminum but POSSIBLY a little dull aluminum paint (from factory manifold "touch-up").
