365hp idler pulley assembly markings.

My 1964 327 365hp is missing the idler pulley assembly and belt that is bolted to the front of the engine, driver's side. Are these marked with a date code or part number? I am having difficulty locating an original so I may have to go with a repo. Will I lose points? What belts are the best to get for performance and NCRS judging standards? Thanks, Michael Kalogridis

Michael, I just pulled an NOS one out of the box. on the front pully is 3829192-GM. I have seen them with and without this mounted in the car. Hopefully others will chime in.
