67 BB auto steel modulator line

    67 BB auto steel modulator line

    the one that came with the car has seen better days. its O/D is appox 3/8. I got a new repro one and its O/D is less then a 1/4. what one is correct

      3/8" is the size of a PCV pipe on the carb base - there's no way a correct modulator line would be the same size; I'd expect it to be more like the size of a brake line (3/16"-1/4").

        John the vacuum line connects a fitting on the intake not the carb base. thanks for the help

          I know that - I was just referencing the size as a comparison; I can assure you the original modulator line was NOT 3/8".

            Alright thanks. I guess the one that came with the car was home made. I know it spent some time at a trans shop in the 70's.
