Can anybody tell me how wide the white wall is on a Uniroyal Tigerpaw AWP II? I am looking for a tire for street use on a 67. I called a couple of dealers but they were no help.

Re: White wall tires
Tried the website, no information it only states that it is a white wall. Called a dealer, the person answering wanted to know if Uniroyal was a brand of car. Then put me on hold for the service desk for a time, came back on the phone to tell me the service counter was too busy to answer the phone. Called Sears and Walmart they don't stock the tire. Re: White wall tires
I bought the same tire from Discount Tire to run on my 67 L-79. A very nice soft, and good riding tire. Much better than the hard redlines that I got from Diamond Back a few years back. The Diamond Back tires are Firestones.- Top

Re: White wall tires
Randy, I've got Tiger Paw AWP II P205/75R15 tires mounted on my '66 rims. The white stripe is just a hair short of 3/4 inch as Jake says. I bought them at my local Farmers Cooperative station. I ordered the tires one afternoon and they had them mounted the next morning. I think they are a nice looking tire.

Re: White wall tires
I think the correct width for whitewalls for a '67 is 5/8" (.625") That would make these whitewalls only .025" wider than the originals. 3/4" is .750", so these are closer to 5/8". These measurements are on a 215/70/14" tire. The 15" tires might be different. I agree with Lawrence--nice soft riding tires.- Top
